Description
The palace is situated in the heart of the historic city center. It is listed as a protected historic monument from 1762, located in the urban conservation area. The building has four wings with a court in the middle, 3 floors with a partial basement. In the attic, there are residential and commercial premises in two height levels. The reconstruction was completed in 1994 with a maximum effort to constructionally imitate the time when it was built (2nd half of the 18th century). This meant restoration and production of replicas of all carpentry, locksmith, masonry, astistic-blascksmith, stucco and stonework works as well as partial replacement of ceiling contructions and truss construction and a complete roofing replacement. The palace is implemented as a monoblock divided into:
- The French Embassy
- The French Institute
